The Society covers all aspects of philately from the Island of New Guinea, and is open to all philatelists with an interest in the Island's stamps and postal history, and at present has a membership of some 150 world wide.

The Society publishes a regular 'Journal, Papua New Guinea, Calling', Auctions are held to enable members to sell their material. At the AGM/Convention there are opportunities to swap, buy and sell as well as a small in-house auction.

Currently the U.K. Membership fee is £14.00 (or Australian $21.50)per annum.
